Who Wants More... of the Reeds?
Hello people,
About 6 or 7 posts ago Andrea made the comment, "Pictures again? How about some narrative?" Well excuse me, but raising a 6 month old and being Super Husband doesn't leave me much time for some NARRATIVE. Besides... pictures are what everyone wants, right? Despite what people might say, nobody subscribes to Playboy for the articles.
Ok then. Narrative. Does this all have to be about Cash? I don't think so. Granted this blog was inspired by and titled after him but why should he get all the attention. I'm pretty cool. Andrea is too, I guess. She married me, that has to count for something. So here are a few updates MOSTLY involving the entire Reed family that is John, Andrea, Cash, Cleveland, Jester and Zoey.
--We've accepted the fact that Cash won't sleep through the night until he... well ever. We were doing really good with the no pacifier training until settling himself went from 5-10 minutes back to 90 minutes so we pulled the plug on that. Technically I guess you could say we put the plug back in. Whatever.
--This week, Sons of Anarchy, Boardwalk Empire, and The Ultimate Fighter all begin new seasons. SWEET! (I said MOSTLY involving the family)
--Andrea started her new job a few weeks.ago. Here's my take of it from what I've gathered through a man's perspective. It's going good. She's really busy trying to learn everything. She's assigned to two K-5 schools. She hates the traffic.
--Andrea going back to work meant Cash started being a regular at his Babysitter. So far everything's been going awesome. A true test will be tomorrow when Cash has to go to my cousin's house, who will be our backup, since our regular is going on a field trip with her daughter. I'll fill you all in on how that goes in my next narrative which probably won't be until, oh I don't know, December.
--My birthday is in 2 days. You can send large amounts of American currency via cash, check, money order, or wire transfer. Rest assured, 0.6% percent will go towards Cash's college fund.
--Cash has become way more vocal in the last month. Andrea has said several times, "he's just doing that to hear himself." Now I won't go as far as to say he gets that from his mother but we all know he doesn't get that from me. Maybe Uncle Kyle. We won't know for sure until he starts rattling off about large caliber guns and/or wild birds called "Spatsies".
--Its apparent that Jeff Fisher has definitely made a positive impact on the Rams after forcing 3 turnovers from the high caliber Lions offense and keeping it a close game throughout. If you've seen me lately, he's also made a positive impact on my facial hair. MOUSTACHE!
--Are you one of those people you post about politics on Facebook? If so, STOP.
--Cash's next Doctor's appointment is Thursday, September 27th so stay tuned to see if he's still atop the 95th percentile mark. That blog post will probably be in picture form so deal with it. SPOILER ALERT: Cash weighed 19 lbs, 13 oz one week ago.
--No news with the pets. Jester is still a beast. Zoey is still "special". And Cleveland and Andrea's relationship is still like that of a Road Runner and Wiley Coyote cartoon.
--Notable upcoming events: September 18th will be Cash's 6 month picture session so be on the lookout for those. I don't know how we're going to top the infamous bowtie and glasses but I'm sure she'll try. Also... did I mention its my birthday in less than two days? See instructions above.
